Relaxing breath for athletes

Guided meditation

As athletes, we are all aware that major results require consistent work.
Throughout the meditation we shall continue to observe and count our breaths.
This time we shall be counting the duration in which we inhale, after which we shall hold our breath and then exhale. We shall use a method known as 5-7-8.
We shall inhale for 5 seconds, after which we shall hold our breath for 7 seconds and then exhale for 8 seconds. This might prove to be harder to focus on throughout the meditation than in previous modules, so it is important to emphasize on the breath count.
Our goal is to allow our body to properly relax, after which we shall more successfully manage to observe our own thoughts while in a meditative state.
